Cafeteria Rules
1. Children are to enter lunchroom quietly and sit at their assigned tables.
2. Children are allowed to drink juice but may not bring soda. Children are not allowed to bring candy or gum at lunch time. Healthy snacks are permitted. NO GLASS BOTTLES.
3. Children are not permitted to bring electronic games, cards or toys. Cell phones, headphones, I-pods, are not allowed.
4. Unless children are asked to sit at another table, they must remain in their seats until they are asked to line up for lunch.
5. Children are to maintain their voices as close to a whisper level as possible.
6. Children raise their hands in order to get permission to go to the bathroom, drink water, or to deposit the remains of their lunches in the garbage.
7. When most of the children are finished, they will be sent out to play in the schoolyard. (Parents please note: We will have outdoor recess unless it is below 32 degrees. Dress your children warmly.)
8. On days when there is inclement weather, children will color, watch a movie, or play board games.
School Yard Rules
9. When the children are outside playing, only children who ask will be permitted to re-enter, one at a time, for water/bathroom.
10. Running, jumping on each other, play fighting, shouting, or other
types of disruptive, dangerous behavior will cause that child
(or children) to lose one or more days recess time.
11. When the whistle blows, children must line up immediately. The classes must consist of two straight, quiet lines.
12. Children must line up with their classes, unless they are asked to do otherwise by the teachers in charge.
