PS 51 The Elias Howe School

I am a second grade teacher, 2-324. I have been teaching for six years and have been at P.S. 51 for the past two years. I graduated from the University of Delaware in 2001 with a degree in Early Childhood education and Bank Street College in 2005 with a Master’s degree in Literacy. I have recently received a scholarship to Fordham University as part of the Cosby Program- Young Readers at Risk. I am the coordinator of the Cookshop program at P.S. 51, a program that brings nutrition and plant education to the classroom. Also, I am a member of the School Leadership Team. I love P.S. 51 because of the great staff and working environment! The students are eager to learn and bring exciting questions and insights to the classroom!
