PS 51 The Elias Howe School

I am currently teaching the third grade at P.S. 51. I have been at this school for 5 years. Prior to working at P.S. 51 I taught at a school in Washington Heights. I have taught both 4th and 1st grades. In addition, I also taught summer school for three years working with both 3rd and 5th graders.

I grew up in New City, New York which is in Rockland County. After graduating high school, I attended the University of Rhode Island for my bachelors degree (in communications) and Fordham University for my masters degree (grades Pre K-6).

At P.S. 51 I am on the S.L.T committee. I also participate in a lot of study groups conducted at P.S. 51. I am honored to be a part of the staff at this school. I believe we are a very special school with a lot to offer our student body.
