PS 51 The Elias Howe School

Hi!! My name is Ms. Fernandez and this is my first year teaching in P.S. 51! I teach first grade. I was a student teacher in P.S. 51 for one year and enjoyed it very much. I attended St. Francis College and received my Bachelors Degree in Childhood Education. I am currently attending Hunter College, working towards my Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education. I grew up in Queens and attended private school for both elementary school and high school. My hobbies include reading, writing and traveling!

I am very excited to be part of P.S. 51 and I look forward to a great year!
