PS 51 The Elias Howe School

I teach 2nd grade at P.S. 51! I have been here for 3 years and I student taught here for one year before that. I was born in New York City but grew up in Westchester, New York. I went to college at Washington University in St. Louis and I majored in Art History and Archaeology and got a minor in studio art. I worked as a museum educator at both art and science museums for over two years before going back to Fordham University to get my masters of science in teaching degree. I have wanted to be a teacher since I was in kindergarten because I loved school and my teacher!
