Mrs. Stacey Krasnow, First Grade Teacher

I have been teaching first grade at P.S. 51 for four years. This is my second year co-teaching with Ms. Fields in the 1st grade CTT class.   Working at P.S. 51 has taught me so much about myself and about the teaching profession. I am so grateful that I have had the opportunity to learn and grow as a teacher at such a wonderful school.    I graduated from the University of Rhode Island in 2001, where I received my Bachelors Degree in Communications. After college I worked in advertising sales for a few years. Although I enjoyed working in the corporate world, it wasn’t where my passion was. In 2005 I left the corporate world and pursued my teaching career. In 2006 I graduated from Touro College with a dual Masters degree in Early Childhood Education and Special Education. I am so happy that I followed my passion and enjoy working with children more and more each day! I grew up in Marlboro, NJ. After college I lived in Manhattan for a few years and recently moved to Hoboken, NJ where I am enjoying the beauty of the city from an outsiders view!
